Successful PhD defense of Tim Huber
As first PhD student in the Ultrafast Dynamics Group, Tim Huber succeeded in defending his PhD.
His research in our group was primarily concentrating on the generation and detection of large amplitude phonons connected to a phase transition in charge density wave systems and using THz excitation in semiconducting Te. In addition to his research, he was also among the first to set up the UDG laser lab at ETH. We wish him all the best for his future!
